In partnership with Niemann Holdings, DBS Group designed and constructed a new, ground-up Ace Hardware store in Quincy, Illinois. The project, located at 1637 Broadway Street, included redeveloping the former Burns & Lumber site into a 10,000-square-foot retail facility. The team’s commitment to sustainable design and construction was integrated throughout with high-efficiency HVAC equipment, LED lighting, polished concrete floors, energy-efficient building envelope, white thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) roofing and concrete site paving. Construction began in late February 2017 and was completed in summer 2017.
