DBS Group welcomes four new team members

With steady growth in its design-build work, DBS Group has added four additional professionals to its team. The recent additions bring expertise in project management, preconstruction, and field operations — strengthening DBS Group’s capacity to take on complex projects and deliver for clients in diverse markets.

Kyle Cavanaugh joined DBS Group as a project engineer. A graduate of Minnesota State University – Mankato with a bachelor’s degree in construction management, Cavanaugh has three years of experience working for a general contractor in Winona, Minnesota, including serving as a project engineer on a large performing arts center project. He is based in DBS Group’s Onalaska office.

With nearly 25 years of construction industry experience, Darrin Knight joined DBS Group as a project superintendent. Knight began his career as a mason and cement finisher before moving into leadership roles as a superintendent. He brings a wide range of experience across senior living, multifamily, healthcare, office, institutional, hospitality, and retail construction projects throughout the Midwest.

Also joining DBS Group as a project superintendent is Rob Kammueller, a 25-year veteran of the construction industry. Kammueller began his career as a carpenter apprentice and has since led numerous commercial construction projects across the Midwest, with extensive experience in tribal, healthcare, office, institutional, multi-family, hospitality, and retail markets.

Randy Williams is the company’s newest preconstruction manager. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and has more than a decade of preconstruction expertise. Williams previously worked for two other Wisconsin-based commercial construction companies, leading the estimating department at one of them. He is based at DBS Group’s Appleton office.
