DBS Group designed and built a new daycare center for Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Ojibwa in Hayward, WI. The ground-up 11,936-square-foot daycare center can serve up to 200 children and includes classrooms, a full prep kitchen, a 2,000-square-foot partial basement with a storm shelter and storage, and outdoor playground areas. This project was fast-tracked to allow the owner to use available CARES Act funding, so DBS Group truly leveraged our design-build expertise and experience to serve our customer on this project in meeting a very aggressive schedule while maintaining the budget, quality and safety.
