DBS Group completes Onalaska headquarters expansion

DBS Group cut the ribbon yesterday, October 30, 2025, on its Onalaska headquarters expansion.

The 3,600-square-foot expansion has grown DBS Group’s existing headquarters with new workspaces, collaboration areas, and amenities designed to support the company’s growing team and expanding design-build operations across the Upper Midwest.

“This expansion is about investing in our people,” said Chris Walters, president and CEO of DBS Group. “We’ve built a team that’s passionate about delivering exceptional projects for our clients, and this facility gives them the space and tools to continue doing that at the highest level.”

With the expansion, DBS Group’s headquarters now spans nearly 10,000 square feet — a physical reflection of the company’s decade of steady growth. Since its founding, DBS Group has grown from 12 employees to nearly 70, serving clients throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and beyond.

“Growth is exciting, but what matters most is how it enables us to serve our clients and communities better,” Walters added. “This new space will help us do both.”

DBS Group is a design-build construction manager and general contractor based in Onalaska and Appleton, Wisconsin; Rochester and Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Des Moines, Iowa. Experts in design-build project delivery across various commercial construction markets, DBS Group manages building projects from conception to completion. The company’s in-house designers and external design partners collaborate with DBS Group’s estimating and construction experts to deliver projects on time and on budget.
